REFLECTIONS: JIM MORRISON IN HIS OWN WORDS

We have 20 seats reserved at Star Theatres so please join us for a moving and insightful performance to celebrate the Lizard King 50 years after his heartbreaking death and hear Jim Morrison's story written in his own words through poetry and 2 HUGE SETS of The Doors performed live on stage! We have booked seating in the tiered seating area as the cabaret style tables at the front are mostly sold already. There is a full bar facility available in the foyer and drinks are allowed in the theatre also so you are welcome to have a drink not just before but during too! So lets meet at 7pm to mingle prior to making our way to our seats to settle in for an 8pm start! Here is more about the show - Reflections: Jim Morrison in his own words is a unique and world first production telling the story of the rise and fall of one of the most influential and misunderstood front men the rock music world has ever known. Written in Adelaide South Australia with encouragement from award winning Californian journalist and rock historian Steve Wheeler, editor and co-author with Frank Lisciandro (Jim Morrison’s real-life friend and personal photographer) of the best selling Morrison book “Friends gathered Together”.  Set in Pere Lachaise Cemetery with a replication of Jim’s grave site scene and using Jim’s own words pieced together from historical interviews, his poetry and writings, with rare photos and imagery projection, we hear Jim Morrison tell his own story 50 years after his death. The show incorporates two full sets of The Doors greatest hits performed live on stage in an authentic concert celebration of the 50th anniversary of the passing of the Lizard King. Our events are open to all ages with the average ages attending our events tending to be mid 40's to mid 60's however everyone is welcome and made to feel comfortable. We are not focused on gender balance however always do our best to ensure there are a nice group of people for everyone to meet :)
