About the Event
Explore the streets (and off-streets) of Hahndorf. Starting in the Hufendorf (the original layout of the village), then down the back streets to see Germanic cottages, with exclusive access to some areas. Visit the Lutheran church with the longest running congregation in Australia and the pioneer cemetery. See examples of fachwerk (Germanic) cottages, and how they were built. You will hear stories about the village you certainly won’t hear by just walking the street – we’ll dig deeper.
